I have lived in Wolstanton for 3 years, am a widow with 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Before I retired I worked for 15 years in the Voluntary Sector helping run Forums in the City concerned with specific health and care and local issues. I became a member of the Newcastle 50+ Forum when I moved into the Newcastle area to enable me to learn what was going on and about service provision in the Borough and perhaps become involved in seeking improvements in facilities for older people.

I have lived in the borough of Newcastle-under--Lyme for 28 years. I am married with two grown-up children. I am now semi-retired but my previous job was project worker in the voluntary/community sector working with older people. I became a member of the 50+ Forum because I am passionate about Health & Social Care issues and want to improve services for older people.
